Calendars

With your permission, Missn reads and writes the calendars on your iPhone (Apple EventKit). Events are shown and cached on the device only and never sent to us.

Tasks and settings

Missn stores tasks, calendar roles and your working hours on the device. If you are signed in to iCloud, Missn syncs tasks and working hours between your devices through your private iCloud database (Apple CloudKit). This data lives in your iCloud account at Apple; we have no access to it. You can turn this off under Settings › [your name] › iCloud › Apps Using iCloud › Missn.

Reminders and sharing

If you link lists from Apple Reminders, Missn reads the open reminders of those lists with your permission and marks them done when you tick them off in Missn (Apple EventKit). Whatever you send to Missn via Share stays on the device and becomes a task. None of it is sent to us.

Notifications

Missn creates notices about new invitations on the device. For iCloud sync, Apple sends silent notifications to the app; we run no push server of our own.

Crash reports

If you have turned on “Share With App Developers” in iOS Settings, Apple gives us anonymised crash and usage reports. They contain no events or tasks and cannot be linked to a person. You can turn this off under Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements.

Website and support

This website sets no cookies and loads nothing from third parties. If you write to us, we only use your details to reply.

We count page views with Umami, open-source software that runs on our own server in Germany. It works without cookies and stores nothing on your device. It records the page you viewed, the referring page, your country, browser and device type. From your IP address and browser signature it derives a daily-changing, non-reversible identifier so that visits within one day can be counted together; the IP address itself is not stored. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in measuring the reach of this site (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The data is not shared with third parties.
